نا نا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، نا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ بِلالا يُؤَذِّنُ، وَقَدْ جَعَلَ أُصْبُعَهُ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ وَهُوَ يَلْتَوِي فِي أَذَانِهِ يَمِينًا وَشِمَالا"""

On the authority of Yaqoub bin Ibrahim Al-Dawrqi, on the authority of Hisham, on the authority of Hajjaj, on the authority of Aoun ibn Abi Juhayfa, on the authority of his father, he said: “I saw Bilal giving the call to prayer, And he put his fingers in his ears and twisted his ears to the right and to the left.”

سیدنا ابوجحیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے سیدنا بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کو اپنی دونوں اُنگلیاں اپنے دونوں کانوں میں ڈالے اذان دیتے ہوئے دیکھا اور وہ اپنی اذان میں دائیں بائیں مڑتے تھے۔ (یعنی «حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ» اور «حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ» کہتے ہوئے)۔
