عبدالرحمان بن ابی صعصعہ، سیدنا ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے فرمایا، جب تم جنگلوں میں ہو تو اذان بلند آواز سے دینا کیونکہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ ”مؤذن کی آواز جو بھی درخت ڈھیلے، پتھر، جنّ اور انسان سُنتے ہیں وہ اُس کے لیے گواہی دیں گے۔“ مرہ کہتے ہیں کہ مجھے عبداللہ بن عبدالرحمٰن ابی صعصعہ نے حدیث بیان کی، وہ کہتے ہیں کہ مجھے میرے والد نے حدیث بیان کی اور وہ سیدنا ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ کے زیر کفالت یتیم تھے جبکہ اُن کی والدہ سیدنا ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس (بیوی کی حیثیت سے) تھیں۔

On the authority of Bandar Muhammad, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman, on the authority of Shu`bah, on the authority of Musa bin Abi Uthman, who said: I heard Abu Yahya, saying: I heard Abu Kitten, says: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The muezzin will be forgiven for the extent of his voice, and everything wet and dry will bear witness to him, and every witness will bear witness to him.” Prayer and twenty-five good deeds are recorded for him, and what comes between them is expiated for him.” Abu Bakr said: He means what is between the two prayers.

سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”مؤذن کے گناہ وہاں تک بخش دیئے جاتے ہیں جہاں تک اُس کی آواز پہنچتی ہے۔ اور ہر تازہ اور خُشک چیز اُسکے لئے گواہی دے گی۔ اور نماز (با جماعت) میں حاضر ہونے والے کے لیے پچیس نیکیاں لکھ دی جاتی ہیں اور اُس کے لیے دو نمازوں کے درمیانی گناہ معاف کر دیئے جاتے ہیں۔“ امام ابوبکر رحمہ اللہ فرماتے ہیں کہ اُن کی مراد «بينهما» سے دو نمازوں کے درمیانی گناہ ہیں۔
