Chapter: Turning during the Adhan when the caller says "Hayya 'ala-s-salah, Hayya 'ala-l-falah"

It is narrated by Abu Musa Muhammad bin Al-Muthanna, it is narrated by Abd al-Rahman, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Aoun, and he is ibn Abi Juhayfah, on the authority of his father, he said: “I saw Bilal gives the call to prayer and he follows it with his mouth,” and Sufyan described: He tilted his head to the right and to the left. Al-Hasan bin Muhammad Al-Zaafrani narrated to us, Ishaq bin Yusuf Al-Azraq narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Aoun bin Abi Juhayfah, on the authority of Abu Juhayfah, he said: I witnessed the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, in Al-Bathaa, who was in a red hood, and he was with people, walking. Then Bilal came and gave the call to prayer, then he turned around to follow his mouth. Here, what he means by saying: “Hayat al-Salat” (Hayat al-Salat), “Hayat al-Falah” (Hayat al-Falah). Wakee’ said, on the authority of Al-Thawri in this report: So he started saying this in his call to prayer, and turning his head, right and left, greeting Al-Falah. سیدنا ابوجحیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے سیدنا بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کو اذان دیتے ہوئے دیکھا، وہ اپنے مُنہ کو (دائیں بائیں) پھیر رہے تھے۔ سفیان نے اس کی کیفیت بیان کی تو کہا کہ وہ اپنے سر کو دائیں اور بائیں موڑ رہے تھے۔ سیدنا ابوجحیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں بطحاء کے مقام پر حاضر ہوا جبکہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سرخ خیمے میں تشریف فرما تھے اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس تھوڑے سے لوگ تھے۔ چنانچہ سیدنا بلال رضی اللہ عنہ آئے تو اُنہوں نے اذان کہی، پھر اُنہوں نے «حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ، حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ» کہتے ہوئے اپنے چہرہ دائیں بائیں پھیرا۔ ثوری اس روایت میں کہتے ہیں کہ اُنہوں نے اپنی اذان میں «حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ» کہتے ہوئے اپنے سر کو دائیں بائیں پھیرا۔
