نَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ قَزْعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى طَعَامٍ فَلا يَعْجَلَنَّ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ حَاجَتَهُ مِنْهُ وَإِنْ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاةُ"""

Al-Hasan bin Qazah told us, Al-Fadl bin Sulaiman told us, on the authority of Musa bin Uqba, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Umar, on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “If one of you is in need of food, he should not rush until he has fulfilled his need for it, even if the prayer has been established.”

سیدنا ابن عمررضی اللہ عنہما نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص کھانا کھا رہا ہو تو وہ جلدی نہ کرے حتیٰ کہ اپنی ضرورت و حاجت پوری کرلے، اگرچہ (اس دوران) نماز کھڑی ہو جائے۔“
