نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ ، نا حَفْصٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ غِيَاثٍ ، نا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلابَةَ ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَا وَرَجُلٌ، فَوَدَّعَنَا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: إِذَا سَافَرْتُمَا وَحَضَرَتِ الصَّلاةُ، فَأَذِّنَا وَأَقِيمَا، وَلْيَؤُمَّكُمَا أَكْبَرُكُمَا" . قَالَ الْحَذَّاءُ: وَكَانَا مُتَقَارِبَيْنِ فِي الْقِرَاءَةِ"

It is narrated by Abdullah bin Saeed Al-Ashjaj, it is narrated by Hafs, meaning Ibn Ghayath, it is narrated by Khaled Al-Hadha, on the authority of Abu Qalaba, on the authority of Malik bin Al-Huwaith, he said: A man and I came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he bid us farewell, then said: “When you travel and the time for prayer comes, then give the call to prayer and perform the iqama, and let them lead you in prayer.” “The eldest of you.” The shoe said: They were close in recitation.

سیدنا مالک بن حویرث رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں اور ایک اور آدمی نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں رخصت کیا تو فرمایا: ”جب تم دونوں سفر کرو اور نماز کا وقت ہو جائے تو اذان کہنا اور اقامت کہنا اور تم دونوں میں جو بڑا ہو اُسے تمہاری امامت کروانی چاہیے۔“ خالد حذاء کہتے ہیں کہ ہم دونوں قرآن مجید کی قرأت میں برابر تھے۔

نا سَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ ، نا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلابَةَ ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ ، قَالَ: أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَا وَابْنُ عَمٍّ لِي، فَقَالَ: إِذَا سَافَرْتُمَا، فَأَذِّنَا وَأَقِيمَا وَلْيَؤُمَّكُمَا أَكْبَرُكُمَا"""

It was narrated on the authority of Salam bin Junada, on the authority of Waki’, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Khalid al-Hadha’, on the authority of Abu Qalaba, on the authority of Malik ibn al-Huwayrith, who said: We came The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and I and a cousin of mine, and he said: “When you travel, then give the call to prayer and perform the iqaamah, and let the eldest of you lead in prayer.”
