We are Bundar, we are Yahya bin Saeed, we are Awf. H. Bundar, Muhammad bin Jaafar, and Abd al-Wahhab told us, on the authority of Awf. H, Ahmad bin Mani’ told us, Hushaym, Abbad bin Abbad, and Ibn Ulayya told us, they said: Awf told us, on the authority of Sayyar bin Salama, on the authority of Abu Barza, said: “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, hated sleeping before the evening meal and talking after it.” This is the hadith of Ahmad bin Mani’, and in the hadith of Yahya bin Saeed, he said: He narrated to us, and in the hadith of Yahya bin Saeed, he said: Sayyar bin Saeed narrated to us. Salama Abu Al-Minhal, he said: I went with my father to Abu Barza Al-Aslami, and my father asked him: How did the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, pray? What is written? He said: “He preferred to delay ‘Isha’ when it was dark, and he disliked sleeping before it or talking after it.” And in the hadith of Muhammad bin Ja’far and Abd al-Wahhab, on the authority of Abu al-Minhal, and the text of their hadith is like the text of the hadith of Yahya.

سیدنا ابوبرزہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عشاء سے پہلے سونے اور اس کے بعد باتیں کرنے کو ناپسند کرتے تھے۔ یہ احمد بن منیع کی حدیث ہے۔ یحییٰ بن سعید کی روایت میں ہے، وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہمیں ابومنہال سیاربن سلامہ نے بیان کیا کہ میں اپنے والد کے ساتھ سیدنا ابوبرزہ اسلمی رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس حاضر ہوا تو میرے والد نے اُن سے پوچھا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرض نماز کیسے ادا کرتے تھے؟ اُنہوں نے فرمایا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عشاء کی نماز جسے تم عتمہ کہتے ہو کو مؤخر کرنا پسند کرتے تھے۔ اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عشاء سے پہلے سونا اور اس کے بعد گُفتگو کرنا ناپسند کرتے تھے۔ محمد بن جعفر اور عبدالوھاب کی روایت میں «عَنْ اَبِی الْمِنْھَالِ» ہے جبکہ متن یحییٰ کی روایت ہی کی طرح ہے۔
