Muhammad bin Rafi’ told us, Abdul Razzaq told us, Ibn Jurayj told us, Nafi’ told me, Abdullah bin Omar told us. H, Muhammad bin Al-Hasan bin Tasnim told us, Muhammad bin Bakr, meaning Al-Barasani, told us, Ibn Jurayj told us, Nafi’ told me, on the authority of Ibn Umar, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was distracted one night from the dark prayer until we fell asleep, then we woke up, then we fell asleep, then We woke up, then he came out and said: “None of the people of the earth is waiting for this prayer except you.” This is the hadith of Muhammad bin Bakr, and Ibn Rafi’ said: Until we lay down in the mosque, and according to the report of Ibn Abbas: Then Omar came out and said: O Messenger God! سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ ایک رات نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز عشاء سے مشغول ہوگئے حتیٰ کہ ہم سو گئے پھر ہم بیدار ہوئے، پھر ہم سو گئے، پھر ہم بیدار ہوئے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تشریف لائے تو فرمایا: ”تمہارے سوا اہل زمین میں سے کوئی بھی نماز کا منتظر نہیں ہے۔“ یہ محمد بن بکر کی حدیث ہے، ابن رافع کی روایت میں ہے کہ حتیٰ کہ ہم مسجد میں سوگئے۔ سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کی حدیث میں ہے کہ سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ باہر نکلے تو اُنہوں نے عرض کی کہ اے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز (پڑھا دیجئے) عورتیں اور بچّے سو گئے ہیں۔

Narrated by Muhammad bin Muammar Al-Qaisi, narrated by Abu Asim, on the authority of Ibn Jurayj. H Muhammad bin Al-Hassan bin Tasnim told us, Muhammad bin Bakr told us, I am Ibn Jurayj. Ahmad bin Mansour al-Ramadi, Hajjaj bin Muhammad, and Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, all on the authority of Ibn Jurayj, and Hajjaj said: Ibn Jurayj said, Al-Mughirah bin Hakim told me that Umm Kulthum bint Abu Bakr told him, on the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace May God bless him and grant him peace. It was dark one night, until most of the night had passed, and until the people of the mosque were asleep, so he went out and prayed, and said: “It is time to pray.” “If it were not that I would make it difficult for my nation.” In the news of Abu Asim and Muhammad bin Bakr, he said: Al-Mughirah bin Hakim told me. Abu Bakr said: When the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, delayed the last evening prayer until the people of the mosque fell asleep, he did not discourage them from sleeping. When he came out to them, and if their sleep had been before the evening prayer, the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, would not have delayed the prayer, as it was disliked. It was more like rebuking them. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, abstained from their actions, and rebuked them for doing what they had no right to do, and in the report of Ata’, on the authority of Jabir ibn Abdullah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, regarding the appointed times. He said: At the time of the final evening prayer on the second night, we slept and then got up. Then we slept, then we got up, then we slept repeatedly.

سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ ایک رات رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے (نماز عشاء) مؤخر کردی حتیٰ کے رات کا اکثر حصّہ گزر گیا اور مسجد والے سو گئے۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تشریف لائے اور نماز پڑھائی اور فرمایا: ”بیشک اس کا یہی وقت ہے اگر مجھے یہ ڈر نہ ہوتا کہ میں اپنی اُمّت کو مشقّت میں ڈال دوں گا۔“ ابوعاصم اور محمد بن کر کی روایت میں۔ «حدثنی المغيرة بن حكيم» ”یعنی اخبرنی کے بجائے حدثنی کہا ہے“ امام ابوبکر رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جب عشاء کو مؤخر کیا حتیٰ کہ اہل مسجد سوگئے اور جب نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اُن کے پاس تشریف لائے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اُنہیں (عشاء سے قبل سونے پر) ڈانٹا نہیں ہے، اور اگر نماز عشاء سے پہلے اُن کا سونا مکروہ ہوتا جبکہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز کو مؤخر کر دیا تھا تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اُنہیں اُن کے اس فعل پر ڈانٹ ڈپٹ کرتے اور اُنہیں اس کام پر سرزنش کرتے جو اُن کے لئے جائز نہ تھا۔ سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ کی نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اوقاتِ نماز کے متعلق روایت میں ہے، وہ دوسری رات نمازِ عشاء کے وقت کے بارے میں فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم سو گئے پھر بیدار ہو گئے، پھر ہم سو گئے، پھر ہم بیدار ہو گئے، پھر ہم کئی بار سوئے۔
