Chapter: Blowing into the hands after striking them on the dust for tayammum

سیدنا عبدالرحمٰن بن ابزی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص سیدنا عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آیا تو اس نے کہا کہ میں جنبی ہوگیا ہوں اور مجھے پانی نہیں ملا (تو میں کیا کروں؟) سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نےفرمایا کہ تم نماز نہ پڑھو۔ (بلکہ پانی ملنے تک انتظار کرو) تو سیدنا عمار رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ اے امیرالمومنین، کیا آپ کویاد نہیں جب میں اور آپ ایک سریہ میں تھے تو ہم جنبی ہو گئے تھے اور ہمیں پانی نہیں ملا تھا۔ تو آپ نے نماز نہیں پڑھی تھی جبکہ میں نے مٹی میں لوٹ پوٹ ہوکر نماز پڑھ لی تھی۔ پھر جب ہم نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے تو میں نے یہ واقعہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو بیان کیا تھا۔ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تھا: ”تمہیں صرف اتنا ہی کافی تھا۔“ اور نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنا ہاتھ زمین پر مارا پھر اس میں پُھونک ماری اور اُس کے ساتھ اپنے چہرے اور دونوں ہاتوں کا مسح کیا۔
