نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ ، نا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَ??َمِ ، عَنْ ذَرٍّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ فِي التَّيَمُّمِ: ضَرْبَةٌ لِلْوَجْهِ وَالْكَفَّيْنِ"""

EnglishUnverified translation

Ali ibn Ma’abad informed us, Yazid ibn Harun informed us, Shu’bah informed us, on the authority of Al-Hammam, on the authority of Dhar, on the authority of Sa’id ibn Abd al-Rahman, on the authority of His father, on the authority of Ammar bin Yasser, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said regarding tayammum: “A blow to the face and hands.”

Yaqoub bin Ibrahim narrated to us, Ibn Ulayya narrated to us, on the authority of Sa’id, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Arza, on the authority of Sa’id bin Abd al-Rahman bin Abza, On the authority of his father, on the authority of Ammar bin Yasser, on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, regarding tayammum, he said: “A blow to the face and hands.”
