بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ السُّنَّةَ قَدْ كَانَ يَسُنُّهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِعِلَّةٍ حَادِثَةٍ فَتَزُولُ الْعِلَّةُ

Chapter: Mention of the evidence that the Prophet (peace be upon him) would sometimes prescribe a practice due to an occurring reason, and when the reason ceased, the practice ceased

باب: اس دلیل کا ذکر کہ نبی ﷺ بعض دفعہ کسی سبب کی بنا پر کوئی عمل تجویز فرماتے تھے، اور جب وہ سبب ختم ہو جاتا تو وہ عمل بھی ختم ہو جاتا

حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ، يَقُولُ: فِيمَ الرَّمَلانُ الآنَ، وَالْكَشْفُ عَنِ الْمَنَاكِبِ، وَقَدْ أَطَّأَ اللَّهُ الإِسْلامَ، وَنَفي الْكُفْرَ وَأَهْلَهُ، وَمَعَ ذَلِكَ لا نَتْرُكُ شَيْئًا كُنَّا نَصْنَعُهُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ"""

Narrated to us Muhammad ibn Rafi', narrated to us Ibn Abi Fudayk, on the authority of Hisham ibn Sa'd, on the authority of Zayd ibn Aslam, on the authority of his father, who said: I heard Umar ibn al-Khattab (RA) say: *"Why do we still perform Ramal (fast walking) and uncover our shoulders now, when Allah has firmly established Islam, driven away disbelief and its people? Despite this, we do not abandon any practice that we used to perform with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)."* **CHAPTER:**

محمد بن رافع نے ہمیں بتایا، ابن ابی فدیک نے ہمیں بتایا، ہشام بن سعد نے، زید بن اسلم نے، اپنے والد سے، کہا: میں نے عمر بن الخطاب کو سنتے ہوئے سنا کہ وہ کہ رہے تھے: "اب رمل اور کندھے کھولنے کا کیا مطلب، جبکہ اللہ نے اسلام کو مضبوط کر دیا، اور کفر اور اس کے لوگوں کو ختم کر دیا، اس کے باوجود ہم وہ چیز نہیں چھوڑتے جو ہم رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ساتھ کیا کرتے تھے۔""
