This is Muhammad bin Al-Ala bin Kurayb, this is Abu Usama. H. Salam bin Junada, na Waki’, both of them, told us on the authority of Al-A’mash. H Al-Hasan bin Muhammad Al-Zaafrani narrated to us, Abu Muawiyah narrated to us, Al-A’mash narrated to us. Al-Sana'ani narrated to us, Khalid bin Al-Harith narrated to us, narrated to us Shu'bah, on the authority of Suleiman, who is Al-A'mash, on the authority of Ibrahim, on the authority of Hammam, he said: I saw Jarir urinated, then called for water. He performed ablution and wiped over his socks, then he stood up and prayed. He was asked about that, and he said: I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. And he did something like this.” This is the hadith of al-San’aani, and the others did not say: I saw Jarir. In the hadith of Abu Usama, Ibrahim said: Our companions liked the hadith of Jarir, because his conversion to Islam occurred after the revelation of the Messenger of Allah. And in the hadith of Waki`: They liked the hadith of Jarir. He converted to Islam after the revelation of the Messenger of Allah.

حضرت ھمام بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے سیدنا جریر رضی اللہ عنہ کو دیکھا، اُنہوں نے پیشاب کیا، پھر کھڑے ہوکر نماز پڑھی، اُن سے اس بارے میں پوچھا گیا (کہ آپ نے موزوں پر مسح کیوں کیا ہے) تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اسی طرح کرتے دیکھا ہے۔ یہ صنعائی کی روایت ہے۔ باقی راویوں نے «رأيت جريراً» ”میں نے جریر کو دیکھا“ کے الفاظ بیان نہیں کئے۔ اب اسامہ کی روایت میں ہے کہ ابراہیم کہتے ہیں کہ ہمارے اصحاب کو سیدنا جریر رضی اللہ عنہ کی حدیث بڑی پسند تھی کیونکہ وہ سورہ مائدہ کے نزول کے بعد اسلام لاۓ تھے۔ اور وکیع کی راویت میں ہے کہ اُنہیں سیدنا جریر رضی اللہ عنہ کی حدیث بہت پسند تھی کیونکہ وہ سورہ مائدہ نازل ہو نے کے بعد اسلام لائے تھے۔

حضرت ابوزرعہ بن عمرو بن جریر رحمہ اللہ سے روایت ہے کہ سیدنا جریر رضی اللہ عنہ نے پیشاب کیا اور وضو کیا، اور اپنے موزوں پر مسح کیا، تو لوگوں نے اُن پر عیب لگایا (یعنی اُن کے مسح کرنے کو ناپسندیدہ اور ناکافی سمجھا) تو اُنہوں نے فرمایا کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو موزوں پر مسح کرتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے۔ اُن سے عرض کی گئی کہ (آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا موزوں پر مسح کرنا) یہ تو سورۃ مائدہ کے نزول سے پہلے تھا؟ اُنہوں نے فرمایا کہ بیشک میں سورہ مائدہ کے نزول کے بعد ہی اسلام لایا تھا۔
