نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ بِشْرِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ السُّلَمِيُّ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ ، قَالا: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى ، قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، قَالَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ: عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ: انْطَلَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصْلِحُ بَيْنَ بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ، فَحَضَرَتِ الصَّلاةُ، فَجَاءَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ، فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَتَقَدَّمَ النَّاسَ، وَأَنْ يَؤُمَّهُمْ، فَجَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَخَرَقَ الصُّفُوفَ حَتَّى قَامَ فِي الصَّفِّ الْمُقَدَّمِ" . ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ. وَهَذَا اللَّفْظُ الَّذِي ذَكَرَهُ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ"
EnglishUnverified translation
Ismail bin Bishr bin Mansour Al-Sulami and Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Bazi’ told us, they said: Abd al-A’la told us, Muhammad said: Ubaid told us By God, Ismail said: On the authority of Ubayd Allah, on the authority of Abu Hazim, on the authority of Sahl bin Saad, he said: “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, set out to reconcile Bani Amr bin Awf, and the time for prayer came, so the muezzin came to Abu Bakr, so he ordered him to go ahead of the people and lead them in prayer, so the Messenger of May God bless him and grant him peace. He broke through the rows until he stood in the front row.” Then he mentioned the hadith in its length. This is the wording mentioned in the hadith of Ismail.

سیدنا سہل بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بنی عمرو بن عوف کے درمیان صلح کرانے کے لئے تشریف لے گئے۔ (آپ کی عدم موجودگی میں نماز کا وقت ہو گیا تو مؤذن سیدنا ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ ان کے پاس آیا اور اُن سے لوگوں کی امامت کرنے کی درخواست کی۔ اُنہوں نے نماز شروع کر دی پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بھی تشریف لے آئے۔ آپ صفوں کو چیرتے ہوئے آگے بڑھے حتّیٰ کہ اگلی صف میں کھڑے ہو گئے۔ پھر مکمّل حدیث بیان کی۔ یہ الفاظ جناب اسماعیل کی روایت کے ہیں۔
