Muhammad bin Omar bin Ali bin Ata bin Muqaddam told us, Yusuf bin Yaqoub bin Abi Al-Qasim Al-Sadoosi told us, Al-Taymi told us, on the authority of Abu Majliz, on the authority of Qais bin Abbad, who said: While I was in Medina in the mosque, in the front row, I was standing and praying, and a man pulled me from behind me. Jadbah, so he leaned towards me and stood in my place, and said: By God, I did not make my prayer reasonable. Then when he left, behold, it was Ubayy ibn Ka’b, and he said: O young man, do not trouble you. By God, this is a covenant from the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, for us to follow. Then he faced the Qiblah and said: “The people of the Aqidah have perished, and by God “The Kaaba” three times, then he said: “By God, I am not sorry for them, but rather I am sorry for those they have gone astray.” He said: I said: Who do you mean by this? He said: “The princes.”
