نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، نَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَنْصُورٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ زَاذَانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ ، وَهِشَامٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، وَحَفْصَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُخْرِجُ الأَبْكَارَ، الْعَوَاتِقَ، ذَوَاتَ الْخُدُورِ، وَالْحُيَّضَ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ، فَأَمَّا الْحُيَّضُ فَيَعْتَزِلْنَ الْمُصَلَّى، وَيَشْهَدْنَ الْخَيْرَ وَدَعْوَةَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، فَقَالَتْ إِحْدَاهُنَّ: فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لإِحْدَانَا جِلْبَابٌ؟ قَالَ: فَلْتُعِرْهَا أُخْتُهَا مِنْ جَلابِيبِهَا"""

Ali bin Muslim told us, Hushaym told us, Mansour, who is Ibn Zazan, told us, on the authority of Ibn Sirin, on the authority of Umm Atiyya, and Hisham, on the authority of Ibn Sirin, and Hafsa, on the authority of Umm Atiyya: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to bring out virgins, those who were free of age, those who had maidens, And menstruating on the day of Eid. As for menstruating women, they isolate themselves from the prayer place and witness goodness and invite the Muslims. One of them said: If not Does one of us have a jilbab? He said: “Let her sister show her some of her cloak.”

سیدہ اُم عطیہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کنواری نوجوان پردہ نشین لڑکیوں اور حائضہ عورتوں کو عید والے دن (عید گاہ کی طرف) نکالا کرتے تھے۔ البتہ حائضہ عورتیں عید گاہ سے الگ رہتی تھیں اور خیر و بھلائی اور مسلمانوں کی دعا میں شریک ہوتی تھیں۔ اُن میں سے کسی عورت نے پوچھا، اگر ہم میں سے کسی ایک کے پاس چادر نہ ہو تو (وہ کیا کرے)؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اُس کی بہن اپنی چادروں میں سے ایک چادراُسے عاریتاً دے دے۔“
