نَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، نَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ : أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ، وَقَالَ مَرَّةً: فِي الْعِيدِ بِـ: سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى وَ هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ، فَإِنْ وَافَقَ ذَلِكَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَرَأَ بِهِمَا"""

On the authority of Abdul-Jabbar bin Al-Ala, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Al-Muntashir, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Habib bin Salem, on the authority of Al-Numan bin Bashir: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to recite on the two Eids, and he once said: On the Eid, “Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High.” The hadith about the cheater has come to you, so if that falls on Friday, recite them.”

سیدنا نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عیدین کی نمازوں میں، ایک بار فرمایا: ”عید میں سورة الأعلى «سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى» اور سورة الغاشية «هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ» پڑھا کرتے تھے۔ اور اگر عید جمعہ کے دن آجاتی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم دونوں نمازوں میں یہی سورتیں پڑھتے۔
