Muhammad bin Amr bin Tammam Al-Masry told us, Nu’aym bin Hammad told us, Al-Fadl bin Musa told us, on the authority of Ibn Jurayj, on the authority of Ata’, on the authority of Abdullah bin Al-Sa’ib said: I attended the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, on the day of Eid. سیدنا عبداللہ بن سائب رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں عید والے دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز پڑھائی اور فرمایا: ”ہم نے نماز ادا کرلی ہے، تو جو شخص چاہے وہ خطبہ سننے کے لئے بیٹھا رہے، اور جو شخص جانا چاہے وہ چلاجائے۔ امام ابوبکر رحمه الله فرماتے ہیں کہ یہ خراسانی روایت نہایت غریب ہے۔ ہمارے علم کے مطابق اسے صرف فضل بن موسی شیبانی نے روایت کیا ہے یہ روایت ابوعمارکے پاس بھی موجود تھی، اُنہوں نے نیسابور میں ہمیں یہ حدیث بیان نہیں کی، اہل بغداد کو یہ حدیث بیان کی تھی جیسا کہ بعض عراقی علماء نے مجھے بتایا ہے۔
