He says: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, “rose on the Day of Fitr, and began to pray before the sermon, then he addressed the people. When the Prophet of God finished, he prayed May God bless him and grant him peace. He descended and went to the women and reminded them. He was leaning on Bilal’s hand, and Bilal was spreading his garment, giving the women charity. I said For giving: Zakat on the Day of Fitr? He said: “No, but it is charity to be given in charity at that time. The woman throws her semen, and they throw it away.” I said to Ataa: Do you think it is right for the imam to come now? When he finishes with women, does he remind them? He said: “That is, by my life, this is a duty upon them, and why should they not do that?”

سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عید الفطر والے دن کھڑے ہوئے، تو خطبے سے پہلے نماز سے ابتداء کی، پھر لوگوں کو خطبہ ارشاد فرمایا۔ جب اللہ کے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فارغ ہوئے تو عورتوں کے پاس تشریف لائے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اُنہیں نصیحت فرمائی جبکہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سیدنا بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہاتھ پر ٹیک لگائے ہوئے تھے۔ اور سیدنا بلال رضی اللہ عنہ نے اپنا کپڑا پھیلایا ہوا تھا۔ جس میں عورتیں صدقہ ڈال رہی تھیں۔ جناب ابن جریج کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے امام عطا ء سے پو چھا، کیا یہ صدقہ فطر تھا؟ تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ نہیں لیکن وہ ایک عام صدقہ تھا جو اُنہوں نے اسی وقت ادا کیا تھا۔ عورت اپنا کنگن یا چھلہ وغیرہ (سیدنا بلال کی چادر میں) ڈال رہی تھیں اور وہ (زیورات وغیرہ) صدقہ کررہی تھیں۔ میں نے جناب عطاء سے پوچھا، کیا آپ کے نزدیک اب بھی امام کے لئے ضروری اور واجب ہے کہ وہ خطبے سے فارغ ہو کر عورتوں کے پاس آئے اور اُنہیں وعظ ونصیحت کرے؟ اُنہوں نے فرمایا کہ ہاں۔ میری عمر کی قسم، یہ اُن پر واجب ہے۔ کیا وجہ ہے کہ وہ ایسا نہیں کرتے؟

امام ابوبکر رحمه الله فرماتے ہیں کہ جناب عبدالمالک بن ابی سلیمان کی عطا کے واسطے سے سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی روایت میں ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عورتوں کو اللہ تعالیٰ سے ڈرنے کا حُکم دیا۔ اُنہیں وعظ ونصیحت کی اللہ تعالیٰ کی حمد و ثنا بیان کی، عورتوں کو اللہ تعالیٰ کی اطاعت کی ترغیب دلائی، پھر فرمایا: ”تم صدقہ کرو کیونکہ تمہاری اکثریت جہنّم کا ایندھن ہے۔ توعورتوں کے درمیان سے پچکے ہوئے رخساروں والی ایک عورت نے کہا، اے اللہ کے رسول، یہ کیوں ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”بیشک تم شکوے شکایات بہت زیادہ کرتی ہو اور خاوند کی ناشکری کرتی ہو“ چنانچہ اُنہوں نے صدقہ وخیرات کرتے ہوئے اپنے گلے کے ہار، زیورات، اپنی بالیاں اور انگوٹھیاں سیدنا بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کی چادر میں ڈال دیں۔
