نا بُنْدَارُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، نا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ الْعَيْزَارِ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَيُّ الْعَمَلِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ: الصَّلاةُ فِي أَوَّلِ وَقْتِهَا"""

It was narrated to us by Bandar bin Bashar, it was narrated to us by Othman bin Omar, it was narrated to us by Malik bin Mughal, on the authority of Al-Walid bin Al-Eizar, on the authority of Abu Amr Al-Shaybani, On the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud, he said: I asked the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace: Which work is best? He said: “Prayer at the beginning of its time.”

سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا کہ کونسا عمل افضل ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”نماز اوّل وقت میں (ادا کرنا افضل ہے)۔“
