When it was the dawn prayer, the angels of the day descended and witnessed the prayer with you all, then the angels ascended. night, and the angels of the day stayed with you, and their Lord asks them, and He knows best about them: What did you let My servants do? He said: Then they say: We came while they were praying and we left them praying. When it was the afternoon prayer, the angels of the night descended and witnessed the prayer with you all, then they ascended. The angels of the day, and the angels of the night stayed with you. He said: Then their Lord will ask them, and He knows best about them, and He will say: What have you forsaken My servants? What do they do? سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:”بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ کے کُچھ فرشتے ہیں جو تمہارے پاس آگے پیچھے آتے رہتے ہیں۔ پھر جب نمازِ فجر کا وقت ہوتا ہے تو دن کے فرشتے نازل ہوتے ہیں اور وہ تمہارے ساتھ اکٹھّے نماز میں حاضر ہوتے ہیں پھر رات کے فرشتے اوپر چڑھ جاتے ہیں۔ اور دن کے فرشتے تمہارے ساتھ رہ جاتے ہیں، تو اُن کا رب اُن سے پوچھتا ہے، حالانکہ وہ اُن سے بخوبی واقف ہے، تم نے میرے بندوں کو کیا کرتے ہوئے چھوڑا ہے؟ فرمایا کہ وہ جواب دیتے ہیں کہ ہم آئے تو وہ نماز پڑھ رہے تھے اور ہم نے اُنہیں نماز ادا کرتے ہوئے چھوڑا ہے۔ پھر جب نماز عصر کا وقت ہوتا ہے تو رات کے وقت فرشتے نازل ہوتے ہیں اور تمہارے ساتھ اکٹھّے نماز ادا کرتے ہیں، پھر دن کے فرشتے اوپر چڑھ جاتے ہیں اور رات کے فرشتے تمہارے ساتھ رہ جاتے ہیں۔ فرمایا کہ تو اُن کا رب اُن سے پوچھتا ہے حالانکہ وہ اُنہیں بخوبی جانتا ہے، وہ فرماتا ہے کہ تم نے میرے بندوں کو کیا کرتے ہوئے چھوڑا ہے؟ فرمایا کہ میرا خیال ہے وہ کہتے ہیں، تو (اے الله) انہیں قیامت کے دن معاف فرما دینا۔“

Angels of the night, and their Lord asks them: How did you abandon My servants? سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”رات اور دن کے فرشتے نماز فجر اور نماز عصر میں جمع ہوتے ہیں۔ نماز فجر میں جمع ہوتے ہیں تو رات کے فرشتے اوپر چڑھ جاتے ہیں اور دن کے فرشتے ٹھہر جاتے ہیں اور نماز عصر میں جمع ہوتے ہیں تو دن کے فرشتے اوپر چڑھ جاتے ہیں تو اُن سے اٗن کا رب سوال کرتا ہے تم نے میرے بندوں کوکیسے چھوڑا؟ تو وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم اُن کے پاس آئے تو وہ نماز پڑھ رہے تھے اور ہم نے اُنہیں چھوڑا تو وہ نماز اداکر رہے تھے لہٰذا تُو انہیں قیامت کے روز معاف فرمادینا۔“
