It is narrated by Yusuf bin Musa, on the authority of Jarir, on the authority of Ata’ bin Al-Sa’ib, on the authority of Sa’id bin Jubayr, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, who raises it as a chain of transmission, in his saying: And if you Sick or on a journey, Surat An-Nisa, verse 43, he said: “If a man suffers wounds in the path of God, or sores, or smallpox, then he should avoid. He is afraid that if he performs ghusl he will die, so let him perform tayammum.” Abu Bakr said: This is news that was reported by none other than Ata’ bin Al-Sa’ib.

This is Muhammad bin Yahya, Omar bin Hafs bin Ghayath, our father, Al-Walid bin Ubayd Allah bin Abi Rabah told me that Ata It was narrated to him, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, that a man became impure in the winter, and he asked and was ordered to wash, so he washed and died, and that was mentioned to the Prophet, may God bless him. He greeted him and said: “What is the matter with them? They killed him, God will kill them. Three times. God has made the desert or tayammum pure.” He doubted Ibn Abbas, then he confirmed it afterward.
