** Narrated to us Muhammad ibn Yahya with an uncommon narration. He said: Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated to me, saying: I read to Abu Qurrah Musa ibn Tariq, on the authority of Ibn Jurayj, who narrated to me: Abdullah ibn Uthman ibn Khuthaym narrated to me, on the authority of Abu az-Zubayr, on the authority of Jabir (RA), that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), when he returned from the Umrah of al-Ji'ranah, sent Abu Bakr (RA) to lead the Hajj. We set out with him until we were at al-'Arj, where he called the dawn prayer. When he stood to say the takbir, he heard the sound of camels behind him, so he stopped from saying the takbir. He then mentioned the hadith at length. He said: When the first day of departure (the 12th of Dhu al-Hijjah) came, Abu Bakr (RA) stood and delivered a sermon to the people, instructing them on how to depart and how to stone the Jamarat, teaching them the remaining rites of Hajj. When he finished, Ali (RA) stood and recited Surah Bara'ah (at-Tawbah) to the people until he completed it.

محمد بن یحیی نے ہمیں ایک غریب حدیث سے بتایا، اسحاق بن ابراہیم نے مجھے بتایا، اس نے کہا: میں نے ابو قرہ موسی بن طارق کو پڑھ کر سنایا، ابن جریج کی طرف سے، عبداللہ بن عثمان بن خثیم نے مجھے بتایا، ابو زبیر کی طرف سے، جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے، کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ جب عمرہ جعرانہ سے واپس آئے، تو ابو بکر رضی اللہ عنہ کو حج پر بھیجا، تو ہم ان کے ساتھ چلے جب تک ہم عرفات (العَرْج) پہنچے، تو اس نے فجر کی اذان دی، جب وہ تکبیر کہنے کے لیے کھڑا ہوا تو اس نے اپنی پیٹھ پیچھے اونٹوں کی آواز سنی، تو تکبیر کہنے سے روک گیا، پھر طویل حدیث بیان کی، اور کہا: "جب پہلا دن نفرہ آیا تو ابو بکر رضی اللہ عنہ کھڑے ہوئے اور لوگوں کو خطاب کیا، انہیں بتایا کہ کیسے نفرہ کرنا ہے اور کیسے رمی کرنا ہے، انہیں مناسک سکھایا، جب وہ فارغ ہوئے تو علی رضی اللہ عنہ کھڑے ہوئے اور لوگوں کو براءت (سورہ توبہ) پڑھ کر سنائی جب تک اس کو ختم نہ کر دیا۔""
