Chapter: The permission for the family of al-'Abbas to spend the nights in Makkah during the days of Mina because of their duty of providing water, so they could continue supplying the people with water

باب: عباس رضی اللہ عنہ کے خاندان کو ایام منیٰ میں مکہ میں راتیں گزارنے کی اجازت ان کی سقایہ کی ذمہ داری کی بنا پر، تاکہ وہ لوگوں کو پانی پلانے کا کام جاری رکھ سکیں

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ابْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَذِنَ لِلْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، اسْتَأْذَنَ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَبِيتَ بِمَكَّةَ لَيَالِيَ مِنًى مِنْ أَجْلِ سِقَايَتِهِ، فَأَذِنَ لَهُ"""

Narrated to us Muhammad ibn Ma'mar, narrated to us Muhammad ibn Bakr, informed us Ibn Jurayj, who narrated to me 'Ubaydullah ibn 'Umar, on the authority of Nafi', on the authority of Ibn 'Umar (RA) that the Prophet (ﷺ) granted permission to al-'Abbas ibn 'Abd al-Muttalib (RA) when he sought permission from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to stay in Makkah during the nights of Mina for the sake of providing water (Siqayah). So, the Prophet (ﷺ) permitted him. **CHAPTER:**

محمد بن معمر نے ہمیں بتایا، محمد بن بکر نے ہمیں بتایا، ابن جریج نے ہمیں خبر دی، عبیداللہ بن عمر نے مجھے بتایا، نافع سے، ابن عمر (رضی اللہ عنہما) سے، کہ "نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) نے عباس بن عبدالمطلب (رضی اللہ عنہ) کو اجازت دی، انہوں نے نبی اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) سے اجازت مانگی کہ اپنی ساقیہ کی خاطر منی کی راتیں مکہ میں بسر کریں، تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) نے انہیں اجازت دی۔""
