حَدَّثَنَاهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، وَعَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: تُرْفَعُ الأَيْدِي فِي سَبْعَةِ مَوَاطِنٍ" ، وَفِي الْخَبَرِ:" وَعِنْدَ اسْتِقْبَالِ الْبَيْتِ"، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: لَمْ أَجْعَلْ لِهَذَا الْخَبَرِ بَابًا، لأَنَّهُمْ قَدِ اخْتَلَفُوا فِي هَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَبَيَّنْتُهُ فِي كِتَابِ الْكَبِيرِ"

Narrated to us Abdullah ibn Sa'id al-Ashajj, narrated to us al-Muharibi, on the authority of Ibn Abi Layla, on the authority of al-Hakam, on the authority of Miqsam, on the authority of Ibn 'Abbas (RA), and on the authority of Nafi', on the authority of Ibn 'Umar (RA), who said: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The hands are raised in seven places." And in this narration: "When facing the House (the Ka'bah)." Abu Bakr (ibn Abi Shaybah) said: "I have not made a chapter for this narration because they (the scholars) have differed regarding this chain of narration, and I have clarified it in my book *al-Kabir*." **CHAPTER:**

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا قَزْعَةَ الْبَاهِلِيَّ ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ الْمَكِّيِّ ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَرَى الْبَيْتَ أَيَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ، قَالَ: مَا أَظُنُّ أَحَدًا يَفْعَلُ هَذَا إِلا الْيَهُودَ، وَقَدْ حَجَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمْ يَكُنْ يَفْعَلُ هَذَا"""

Narrated to us Muhammad ibn Bashshar, narrated to us Muhammad ibn Ja'far, narrated to us Shu'bah, who said: I heard Abu Qaz'ah al-Bahili narrating from al-Muhajir al-Makki, who said: Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah was asked about a man who sees the House (the Ka'bah) and raises his hands. He said: "I do not think that anyone does this except the Jews. We performed Hajj with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he did not do this." **CHAPTER:**

محمد بن بشار نے ہمیں بتایا، محمد بن جعفر نے ہمیں بتایا، شعیبہ نے، کہا: میں نے ابو قزعہ بہیلی کو سنا، جو مہاجر مکی سے روایت کرتے تھے، کہا: جابر بن عبداللہ سے پوچھا گیا اس شخص کے بارے میں جو بیت کو دیکھے تو اپنے ہاتھ اٹھائے، انہوں نے کہا: "مجھے نہیں لگتا کہ کوئی یہ کرتا ہو سواۓ یہود، اور ہم نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ساتھ حج کیا تو آپ ﷺ تو آپ نے یہ نہیں کیا۔""
