From Muhammad bin Bashar, from Abu Ahmad al-Zubayri, from Israel, from Mansour, from Ibrahim, from Alqamah, from Abdullah, he said: You consider the verses a punishment, but we used to consider them a blessing during the time of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. سیدنا عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ بیشک تم آیات (معجزات اور نشانیوں) کو عذاب شمار کرتے ہو، اور ہم اُنہیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے عہد مبارک میں برکت شمار کرتے تھے۔ ہم رسول الله صل اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ کھانا کھایا کرتے تھے اور کھانے کی تسبیح سنا کرتے تھے۔ فرمایا کہ نبی اکرم صل اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس پانی کا برتن لایا گیا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنا ہاتھ مبارک اُس میں رکھا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی اُنگلیوں کے درمیان سے پانی پھوٹنے لگا، تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”مبارک پانی کی طرف آؤ اور برکت اللہ تعالٰی کی طرف سے ہے۔“ حتیٰ کہ ہم سب نے وضو کر لیا۔
