نا أَبُو يَحْيَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الْبَزَّازُ ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي اللَّيْثِ ، نا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الأَشْجَعِيُّ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ، أَنَّهُ دَعَا بِكُوزٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ، ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءًا خَفِيفًا، ثُمَّ مَسَحَ عَلَى نَعْلَيْهِ"، ثُمَّ قَالَ:" هَكَذَا وُضُوءُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِلطَّاهِرِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ"""

We are Abu Yahya Muhammad bin Abdul Rahim Al-Bazzaz, we are Ibrahim bin Abi Al-Layth, we are Ubaid Allah bin Ubaid Al-Rahman Al-Ashja’i, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Al-Suddi, on the authority of Abd Khair, on the authority of Ali, “He called for a jug of water, then he performed a light ablution, then wiped his shoes,” then He said: “This is the ablution of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, for the pure person, as long as he did not do it.”

عبید خیر سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ اُنہوں نے پانی کا ڈونگا منگوایا پھر اُس سے ہلکا سا وضو کیا، پھر اپنے جوتوں پر مسح کیا پھر فرمایا کہ طاہر (با وضو) شخص کا جب تک وضو نہ ٹوٹے، اُس کے لیے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا وضو اسی طرح تھا۔
