نا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ ، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، نا الزُّهْرِيُّ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يُحَدِّثُ: عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: إِذَا حَضَرَ الْعَشَاءُ وَأُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاةُ فَابْدَءُوا بِالْعَشَاءِ" . هَذَا حَدِيثُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ. وَقَالَ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ، وَأَحْمَدُ: عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ. وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ: عَنْ أَنَسٍ"

Narrated to us 'Abd al-Jabbar ibn al-'Ala', Sa'id ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Makhzumi, and Ahmad ibn 'Abdah. They said: Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of al-Zuhri, that he heard Anas ibn Malik narrating that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: *"When the evening meal is ready while the prayer is about to be established, start with the evening meal."* This is the narration of 'Abd al-Jabbar. Al-Makhzumi and Ahmad said: *On the authority of al-Zuhri.* Ahmad said: *On the authority of Anas.* **CHAPTER:**
