نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنِي الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: فَإِذَا قَالَ الإِمَامُ: اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، فَقُولُوا: اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، فَإِذَا قَالَ: سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ، فَقُولُوا: رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ"""

Muhammad bin Al-Muthanna told us, Al-Dahhak bin Mukhlid told me, Sufyan told us, Abdullah bin Abi Bakr told me, on the authority of Saeed bin Al-Musayyab On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “So if the imam says: God is great, then say: God is great, So when he says: God hears those who praise Him, then say: Our Lord, to You is praise.

سیدنا ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب امام «اللهُ أَكْبَرُ» کہہ لے، تو تم «اللهُ أَكْبَرُ» کہو۔ جب وہ «سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ» کہے تو تم «رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الحَمْد» کہو۔“
