نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ ، نَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ ، نَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ أَصْلُهُ مَدَنِيٌّ سَكَنَ الْكُوفَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَنْ صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ، كَانَ كَقِيَامِ نِصْفِ لَيْلَةٍ، وَمَنْ صَلَّى الْفَجْرَ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ كَانَ كَقِيَامِ لَيْلَةٍ"""

On the authority of Muhammad ibn Rafi’, on the authority of Al-Fadl ibn Dukain, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Uthman ibn Hakim, whose origin was a civilian who lived in Kufa, on the authority of Abd Al-Rahman bin Abi Amra, on the authority of Uthman bin Affan, said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever prays the evening prayer in a group, will It is like standing in prayer for half a night, and whoever prays Fajr in a group, it will be like standing in prayer all night.”

سیدنا عثمان بن عفان رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس شخص نے عشاء کی نماز جماعت کے ساتھ پڑھی تو گویا اُس نے آدھی رات نماز تہجّد ادا کی۔ اور جس شخص نے فجر کی نماز باجماعت ادا کی تو گویا اُس نے ساری رات تہجّد ادا کی۔“
