Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, Yahya bin Saeed narrated to us, and Muhammad bin Jafar narrated to us, they said: Shu’bah narrated to us, on the authority of Qatada and Uqba bin Wasaj, on the authority of Abu Al-Ahwas, on the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “A man’s prayer with all of them is superior to his prayer alone.” “With twenty-five,” Abu Bakr said: Abu Qudamah told us, on the authority of Yahya bin Sa’id, on the authority of Shu’bah, and something similar. سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”آدمی کی جماعت کے ساتھ نماز کی ادائیگی، اُس کی تنہا نماز سے پچیس گنا فضیلت والی ہے۔“ امام ابوبکر رحمه الله فرماتے ہیں کہ یہ الفاظ اس جنس سے تعلق رکھتے ہیں جس کے متعلق میں کتاب الایمان میں بیان کرچکا ہوں کہ عرب جب کسی اجزاء اور شاخوں والی چیز کا عدد بیان کرتے ہیں تو اس سے اُن کی مراد اس عدد سے زائد کی نفی کرنا نہیں ہوتا۔ لہٰذا نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے اس فرمان ” پچیس گنا“ سے آپ کی مراد یہ نہیں کہ باجماعت نماز کا ثواب اس سے زیادہ نہیں ہوسکتا۔ ہماری اس تاویل وتفسیر کی دلیل درج ذیل حدیث ہے۔
