حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالا: حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ ، عَنْ عِتْبَانَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى فِي بَيْتِهِ سُبْحَةَ الضُّحَى، فَقَامُوا وَرَاءَهُ فَصَلَّوْا فِي بَيْتِهِ" . قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: فِي بَيْتِهِ يَعْنِي بَيْتَ عِتْبَانَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ"

Yaqoub bin Ibrahim Al-Dawraqi and Muhammad bin Yahya told us, saying: Uthman bin Omar told us, Yunus told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Mahmoud bin Al-Rabi’, on the authority of Itban bin Malik, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed the morning prayer in his house, so they stood behind him and prayed in detail. "In his house." Abu Bakr said: In his house, meaning the house of Itban bin Malik.

سیدنا عتبان بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اُن کے گھر میں نماز چاشت پڑھی تو صحابہ کرام بھی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے کھڑے ہو گئے، سب نے اُن کے گھر میں نماز چاشت ادا کی۔ اما م ابوبکر رحمه الله فرماتے ہیں کہ اُن کے گھر سے مراد سیدنا عتبان بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کا گھر ہے۔
