Yaqoub bin Ibrahim Al-Duraqi and Abu Hashim Ziyad bin Ayyub told us, saying: Hushaym told us, Khalid told us, on the authority of Abdullah Ibn Shaqiq, he said: I asked Aisha about the voluntary prayers of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and she said: “He used to pray four times before noon in My house, then he would go out and lead the people in prayer, then he would return to my house and pray two rak’ahs, and he used to lead the people in Maghrib prayer, then he would return to my house. He would pray two rak'ahs, then he would lead the evening prayer with them, then he would enter my house and pray two rak'ahs, and he used to pray nine rak'ahs at night, including the Witr prayer. And when dawn came, he would pray two rak’ahs, then he would go out and lead the people in the dawn prayer.”

جناب عبداللہ بن شقیق رحمه الله بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نفل نماز کے متعلق پوچھا تو اُنہوں نے فرمایا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ظہر سے پہلے چار رکعات میرے گھر میں پڑھتے تھے، پھر تشریف لے جاتے اور لوگوں کو نماز پڑھاتے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرے گھر واپس تشریف لاتے اور دو رکعات ادا کرتے، اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم لوگوں کو مغرب کی نماز پڑھاتے پھر میرے گھر واپس آ کر دو رکعات ادا کرتے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم انہیں عشاء کی نماز پڑھاتے پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرے گھر میں داخل ہوتے تو دو رکعات ادا کرتے، اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم رات کے وقت نو رکعات وتروں سمیت ادا کرتے، اور جب فجر طلوع ہو جاتی تو دو رکعات ادا کرتے پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم (مسجد) تشریف لے جاتے اور لوگوں کو نماز فجر پڑھاتے۔“
