Mu’mal ibn Hisham and Ahmad ibn Mani’ narrated to us, saying: Ismail narrated to us, on the authority of Ayyub, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Umar, he said: “I prayed with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, two rak’ahs before noon, two rak’ahs after it, two rak’ahs after sunset in his house, and two rak’ahs after Dinner at his house.” Ahmad’s hadith ended, and Ma’mal added, saying: Hafsa spoke to me, and it was a time when no one entered him. He said: “He was praying.” Two rak'ahs until dawn comes, and the caller calls for prayer." He said: I see it. He said: Two short rak'ahs, and two rak'ahs after the Friday prayer in his house.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ نماز ظہر سے پہلے دو رکعات اور دو رکعات اس کے بعد ادا کیں، اور دو رکعات مغرب کے بعد آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے گھر میں پڑھیں، اور دو رکعات عشاء کے بعد آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے گھر میں پڑھیں۔ جناب احمد بن منیع کی حدیث یہاں ختم ہو جاتی ہے۔ جناب مؤمل بن ہشام نے یہ اضافہ بیان کیا، فرماتے ہیں کہ مجھے سیدہ حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا اور وہ ایسا وقت تھا جس میں کوئ شخص آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس نہیں آتا تھا، بیشک آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم دو رکعات ادا کرتے حتیٰ کہ (دوسری) فجر طلوع ہو جاتی اور مؤذن نماز کے لئے اذان دے دیتا - راوی کہتے ہیں کہ میرا خیال ہے کہ اُنہوں نے یہ بھی فرمایا تھا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یہ دو رکعات ہلکی اور مختصر ادا کرتے، اور دو رکعات جمعہ کے بعد اپنے گھر میں ادا کرتے۔
