سیدنا حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ مغرب کی نماز پڑھی، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نفل نماز ادا کرتے رہے حتیٰ کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عشاء کی نماز پڑھی۔“

Abu Bakr said: It was narrated by Omar bin Abi Khath’am Al-Yamimi, on the authority of Yahya bin Abi Kathir, on the authority of Abu Salamah bin Abdul Rahman, on the authority of Abi Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever prays six rak’ahs after sunset does not speak anything between them except in the remembrance of God.” “They were equal to Him by worshiping Him for twelve years.” Abu Ammar Al-Hussein bin Harith told us, Zaid bin Al-Hubab told us, on the authority of Omar bin Abi Khath’am Al-Yamami, on the authority of Yahya bin Abi Kathir, h. And Hafs bin Amr Al-Rubali narrated to him, on the authority of Zayd bin Al-Hubab, Omar bin Abi Khath’am Al-Yamimi informed me, on the authority of Yahya bin Abi Kathir, without Al-Rubali said: He should not speak ill between them.

سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کر تے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس شخص نے نماز مغرب کے بعد چھ رکعات نماز نفل پڑھی، ان کے درمیان ذکر الہٰی کے سوا کوئی بات چیت نہ کی تو یہ رکعات اُس کے لئے بارہ سال کی عبادت کے برابر ہوجائیں گی۔ جناب الربالی کی روایت میں یہ الفاظ ہیں کہ ”ان کے درمیان کوئی بری بات کیے بغیر نماز پڑھے۔“
