On the authority of Ibn Masoud, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: When evening came, the Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) would say: “We have arrived, and the kingdom belongs to Allah at night, and praise be to Allah. There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner.” The narrator said: I see him saying in them: “To Him belongs the dominion and to Him is praise, and He is capable of all things. My Lord, I ask you for the good of this night and the good of what comes after it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil of what comes after it.” My Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and the evil of arrogance. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the good of what comes after it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil of what comes after it. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and the evil of arrogance. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the torment of the Fire and the torment in the grave. And when he woke up, he also said that: “We have risen in the morning and the kingdom belongs to Allah” ([Muslim]..
