On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet (ﷺ) he said: “Only three spoke in the cradle: Jesus, son of Mary, and the companion of Jurayj, and Jurayj was a man of worship, so he took a hermitage and was in it, and his mother came to him while he was praying and said: O Jurayj, and his mother came to him while he was praying and said: Oh Jurayj, and he said: Oh Lord, my mother and my prayer, so he went to his prayer and she left. When It was the next day that she came to him while he was praying, and said: O Jurayj, and he said: 'O my Lord, my mother and my prayer,' so he resumed his prayer and she left. When she returned the next day while he was praying, she called him again, and he repeated the same response, so she left and prayed: 'O Allah, do not let him die until he sees the faces of prostitutes.' So the children of Israel remembered Jurayj and his worship, and she was a prostitute who was imitating her beauty, so she said: If you wish, I will tempt him, so she exposed herself to him, but he did not pay attention to her, so she came to a shepherd who was sheltering in his hermitage. So she made herself available to him and he had relations with her. So she became pregnant, and they started beating him. He said: What is the matter with you? They said: I committed adultery with this prostitute and gave birth to you. He said: Where is the boy? So they brought him and he said: Leave me so I can pray, so he prayed. When he finished praying, he went to the boy and poked his stomach and said: O boy, who is your father? He said: So-and-so shepherd, so they went to Jurayj, kissing him and wiping him. And they said: We will build your hermitage of gold. He said: No, restore it from clay as it was, so they did. We saw a boy being breastfed by his mother, and a man passed by riding on a luxurious animal with a handsome appearance. She said: “Oh Allah, make my son like this.” He left the breast and came to him and looked at him and said: “Oh Allah, do not make me like him.” Then he approached his breast and he began to suckle. It was as if I was looking at the Messenger of Allah. May the (ﷺ) (ﷺ) while he was narrating his breastfeeding with his index finger in his mouth, so he began to suck it. He said: “They passed by a slave girl and they were beating her, and they were saying: You committed adultery and stole, and she was saying: Allah is sufficient for me, and He is the best disposer of affairs.” His mother said: Oh Allah, do not make my son like her. So he left the breastfeeding and looked at her and said: Oh Allah, make me like her. There, they retracted the conversation and she said: A man of good appearance passed by. So I said: Oh Allah, make my son like him. So I said: Oh Allah, do not make me like him. They passed by this nation and they were beating her and saying: She committed adultery and stole. I said: Oh Allah, do not make my son like her. So I said: Oh Allah, make me like her?! He said: That man was a tyrant, so I said: Oh Allah, do not make me like him. And to this woman they say: She committed adultery, and she did not commit adultery, and she stole, and she did not steal. So I said: Oh Allah, make me like her.” (Agreed upon) (25)
