From Ibn Jurayj, he said: A hadith was narrated raised to Abd al-Rahman al-Araj, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) urged people on charity, and he was brought, and it was said: O Messenger of Allah, this is Abu Jahm ibn Hudhayfah, and Khalid ibn al-Walid, and Abbas, the uncle of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), have withheld charity. And he said: What does Ibn Jamil resent of us but that he was poor, and Allah and His Messenger enriched him. And as for Khalid ibn al-Walid, he has kept his coats of mail and counted them in the path of Allah. And as for Abbas, the uncle of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), it is upon him and the like of it with it.
