534 ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا: ہم سے لیث نے ابو الزبیر سے اور جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہ انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے شکایت کی۔ آپ ہم نے ان کے پیچھے نماز پڑھی جب وہ بیٹھے ہوئے تھے اور ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ اللہ اکبر کہہ رہے تھے اور لوگ ان کو اللہ اکبر کہتے ہوئے سن رہے تھے آپ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہماری طرف متوجہ ہوئے اور ہمیں کھڑے دیکھا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں اشارہ کیا، ہم بیٹھ گئے اور ہم نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھی، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے آپ کو سلام کیا تو فرمایا: ”اگر تم ابھی جہاد کرو گے تو تم رومیوں کے خلاف اٹھ کھڑے ہوں گے اور ان کے خلاف اٹھ کھڑے ہوں گے۔ بیٹھ کر اپنے امام کی اقتداء نہ کرو اگر وہ کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھے تو وہ بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھیں۔
