Ibrahim bin Muhammad told us, he said: Yahya told us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Zubaid, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Laila, he said: He said Omar: “The traveler’s prayer is two rak’ahs, the Eid al-Adha prayer is two rak’ahs, the Fitr prayer is two rak’ahs, and the Friday prayer is two rak’ahs. It is complete and not short on the tongue.” The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.” (Peace Be Upon Him)

ابراہیم بن محمد نے ہمیں بتایا، انہوں نے کہا: یحیٰ نے ہمیں بتایا، سفیان کی طرف سے، زبید کی طرف سے، عبدالرحمن بن ابی لیلی کی طرف سے، انہوں نے کہا: عمر نے کہا: "مسافر کی نماز دو رکعت ہے، عید الاضحی کی نماز دو رکعت ہے، عید الفطر کی نماز دو رکعت ہے، اور جمعہ کی نماز دو رکعت ہے، یہ پوری ہے، قصر نہیں، اللہ کے رسول ﷺ کی زبان پر۔"""

Abdullah bin Saeed Al-Ashjaj told us, he said: Ibn Idris told us, he said: Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Adi, on the authority of Saeed bin Jubayr, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, “went out on the day of Eid and prayed two rak’ahs. He did not pray before or after it.” (Peace Be Upon Him)

He did not pray before or after it.” (Peace Be Upon Him)

Qutaibah bin Saeed told us, he said: Al-Layth bin Saad told us, on the authority of Abu Al-Zubayr, on the authority of Jabir, he said: Salik Al-Ghatfani and the Messenger of God came God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was sitting on the pulpit, and Salik sat down before praying, and the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to him: “You prayed two rak’ahs.” He said: No. He said: Get up and kneel on them.
