4386 - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُزَيْزٍ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ قَالَ : نَا غَسَّانُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ قَالَ : نَا أَبُو إِسْرَائِيلَ الْمُلَائِيُّ وَاسْمُهُ إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ قَالَ : قَدِمَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَفْدُ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ ، مُجْتَابِي النِّمَارِ ، عَلَيْهِمْ أَثَرُ الضُّرِّ ، فَسَاءَهُ مَا رَأَى مِنْ هَيْئَتِهِمْ ، فَدَخَلَ مَنْزِلَهُ ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ ، فَأَمَرَ بِالصَّدَقَةِ ، وَحَرَّضَ عَلَيْهَا ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : لِيَتَصَدَّقِ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ صَاعِ بُرِّهِ ، وَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ مِنْ صَاعِ تَمْرِهِ ، قَالَ : فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ بِصُرَّةٍ ، فَوَضَعَهَا ، ثُمَّ تَتَابَعَ النَّاسُ ، حَتَّى اجْتَمَعَ شَيْءٌ مِنْ ثِيَابٍ وَطَعَامٍ قَالَ : فَتَهَلَّلَ وَجْهُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى صَارَ كَأَنَّهُ مُذَهَّبٌ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " مَنْ سَنَّ سُنَّةً حَسَنَةً ، فَعُمِلَ بِهَا بَعْدَهُ ، كَانَ لَهُ أَجْرُهَا وَأَجْرُ مَنْ عَمِلَ بِهَا ، مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَنْقُصَ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْئًا ، وَمَنْ سَنَّ سُنَّةً سَيِّئَةً ، فَعُمِلَ بِهَا بَعْدَهُ ، كَانَ عَلَيْهِ وِزْرُهَا وَوِزْرُ مَنْ عَمِلَ بِهَا ، مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَنْقُصَ مِنْ أَوْزَارِهِمْ شَيْئًا . [4/344] لَمْ يَرْوِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ إِلَّا أَبُو إِسْرَائِيلَ ، وَلَا يُرْوَى عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ إِلَّا بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ " .

4386 - Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Uzayz al-Mawsili narrated to us, he said: Ghassan ibn al-Rabi narrated to us, he said: Abu Israil al-Mulai, whose name is Ismail, narrated to us, from al-Hakam, from Abu Juhayfah, he said: A delegation of Abd al-Qays came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wearing striped woolen garments, with traces of hardship upon them, and what he saw of their state grieved him, so he entered his house then came out and commanded charity and urged it, then said: Let a man give charity from a sa of his wheat, and let him give charity from a sa of his dates. A man came with a bundle and placed it, then people followed one after another until a pile of clothes and food gathered. The face of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) brightened until it became as if gilded, then he said: Whoever establishes a good practice and it is acted upon after him, he will have its reward and the reward of whoever acts upon it, without anything diminishing from their rewards; and whoever establishes an evil practice and it is acted upon after him, upon him will be its sin and the sin of whoever acts upon it, without anything diminishing from their sins. No one narrated this hadith from al-Hakam except Abu Israil, and it is not narrated from Abu Juhayfah except with this chain.

4386 - ہم سے عبداللہ بن محمد بن عزیز موصلی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا: ہم سے غسان بن ربیع نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا: ہم سے ابو اسرائیل ملائی جن کا نام اسماعیل ہے نے حکم سے انہوں نے ابو جحیفہ سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس عبدالقیس کا وفد آیا، دھاری دار اونی چادریں اوڑھے، ان پر تنگی کا اثر تھا، تو ان کی حالت دیکھ کر آپ کو برا لگا، تو آپ اپنے گھر داخل ہوئے پھر نکلے اور صدقے کا حکم دیا اور اس پر ابھارا، پھر فرمایا: آدمی اپنے ایک صاع گیہوں سے صدقہ کرے، اور اپنے ایک صاع کھجور سے صدقہ کرے۔ ایک شخص ایک تھیلی لایا اور رکھ دی، پھر لوگ یکے بعد دیگرے آئے حتیٰ کہ کپڑوں اور کھانے کا کچھ ڈھیر جمع ہو گیا۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا چہرہ کھل اٹھا حتیٰ کہ گویا سونے کا ہو گیا، پھر فرمایا: جو اچھی سنت جاری کرے اور اس کے بعد اس پر عمل ہو تو اسے اس کا اجر اور اس پر عمل کرنے والے کا اجر ملے گا، ان کے اجروں سے کچھ کم کیے بغیر، اور جو بری سنت جاری کرے اور اس کے بعد اس پر عمل ہو تو اس پر اس کا گناہ اور اس پر عمل کرنے والے کا گناہ ہوگا، ان کے گناہوں سے کچھ کم کیے بغیر۔ یہ حدیث حکم سے صرف ابو اسرائیل نے روایت کی، اور ابو جحیفہ سے صرف اسی سند سے روایت ہوتی ہے۔
