Ahmad ibn Nasr and Abdullah ibn al-Sabbah al-Attar told us. Ahmad told us, and Abdullah said: Mahboub ibn al-Hasan told us. Dawud narrated to us, on the authority of Al-Sha’bi, on the authority of Masruq, on the authority of Aisha, who said: “It was obligatory to pray two rak’ahs when traveling and at home. When the Messenger of God God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, in Medina added two rak’ahs in the urban prayer, and left the dawn prayer with a length of recitation, and the Maghrib prayer. Because it is the string of the day.”
