نَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ ، قَالا: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي خَمِيصَةٍ لَهَا أَعْلامٌ، فَقَالَ: شَغَلَتْنِي أَعْلامُ هَذِهِ، اذْهَبُوا بِهَا إِلَى أَبِي جَهْمٍ وَائْتُونِي بِأَنْبِجَانِيَّةٍ" قَالَ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ: عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، وَقَالَ أَيْضًا: بِأَنْبِجَانِيَّةٍ."

Abdul-Jabbar bin Al-Ala’ and Sa’id bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Makhzoumi told us, they said: Sufyan narrated to us, Al-Zuhri narrated to us, on the authority of Urwa, on the authority of Aisha, she said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed in a khamisah with signs on it, and he said: “The signs of this one have occupied me, take it to my father.” Jahm, and bring me something that is pure.” Al-Makhzoumi said: On the authority of Al-Zuhri, and he also said: With something that is pure.

سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نقش و نگار والی ایک چادر میں نماز پڑھی تو فرمایا: ”مجھے اس کے بیل بوٹوں نے مشغول کر دیا تھا۔ لہٰذا یہ چادر حضرت ابوجہم کو دے آؤ اور مجھے انبجان کی بنی ہوئی (سادہ) چادر لا دو۔“ جناب مخزومی کی زہری سے جو روایت ہےاس میں بھی «انبجانية» کے الفاظ ہیں۔ امام صاحب ایک اور سند سے یہی روایت بیان کرتے ہیں۔
