سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے کسی سفر میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ گئے حتیٰ کہ جب ہم مقام بیداء یا ذات جیش پر تھے تو میرا ہار ٹوٹ گیا۔ تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اُس کی تلاش میں رُک گئے اور لوگ بھی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ رُک گئے۔ جبکہ وہ پانی کے مقام پر نہیں تھے۔ تو لوگ سیدنا ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آئے اور کہنے لگے کہ کیا آپ جانتے نہیں کہ سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کیا کیا ہے؟ اُنہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور لوگوں کو ٹھہرا دیا ہے جبکہ وہ پانی کے مقام پر نہیں ہیں اور نہ اُن کے پاس پانی ہے۔ چنانچہ سیدنا ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ تشریف لائے جبکہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میری ران پر سر رکھ کر سو چُکے تھے۔ پھر مکمل حدیث بیان کی۔
