Narrated by Bahr bin Nasr bin Sabiq, narrated by Ibn Wahb, who said: I heard Muawiyah bin Saleh, speaking, on the authority of Abu Uthman, on the authority of Jubayr bin Nufayr, On the authority of Uqba bin Amer. H. Abdullah bin Hashim told us, we are Abdul Rahman, meaning Ibn Mahdi, we are Muawiyah, on the authority of Rabi’ah, who is the son of Yazid, on the authority of Abu Idris. He said: Abu Uthman narrated to him, on the authority of Jubayr bin Nufayr, on the authority of Uqba bin Amir, who said: We had to take care of the camels, so I took them out in the evening. Then I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, standing and speaking to the people, and I understood from his saying: “There is no Muslim who performs ablution and does it well, and then He stands and prays two rak’ahs, facing them with his heart and face, unless Paradise is guaranteed for him.” He said: I said: How good this is! Then there was someone before me, saying: The one before that was better, so I looked. Then there was Omar ibn al-Khattab, saying: I saw you coming just before. He said: So I looked and saw Omar bin Al-Khattab. He said: I saw you coming just before. He said: “None of you performs ablution.” So he completed the ablution, then He says: I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, except that the eight gates of Paradise will be opened for him. He enters from “Whoever he wishes,” this is the hadith of Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi. Bahr bin Nasr told me after his hadith, Ibn Wahb said, he said: Muawiyah said: Rabi’ah bin Yazid narrated to me, on the authority of Abu Idris. Al-Khawlani, on the authority of Uqba bin Amir, similar to the hadith of Abu Uthman, on the authority of Jubayr bin Nufayr, on the authority of Uqba
