حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَوْرٌ ، عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ لُحَيٍّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قُرْطٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَعْظَمُ الأَيَّامِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ، ثُمَّ يَوْمُ الْقَرِّ" ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: يَوْمَ الْقَرِّ يَعْنِي يَوْمَ الثَّانِي مِنْ يَوْمِ النَّحْرِ"

EnglishUnverified translation

** Narrated to us Muhammad ibn Bashshar, narrated to us Yahya ibn Sa‘id, narrated to us Thawr, on the authority of Rāshid ibn Sa‘d, on the authority of ‘Abdullāh ibn Luhayy, on the authority of ‘Abdullāh ibn Qurt (RA) who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said, “The greatest day with Allāh is the Day of Sacrifice (Yawm an-Naḥr), then the Day of Rest (Yawm al-Qarr).” Abū Bakr (RA) said: “Yawm al-Qarr means the second day after the Day of Sacrifice.”

محمد بن بشار نے ہمیں بتایا، یحیی بن سعید نے ہمیں بتایا، ثور نے ہمیں بتایا، راشد بن سعد سے، عبداللہ بن لہی سے، عبداللہ بن قرط سے، انہوں نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول ﷺ نے فرمایا: "اللہ کے نزدیک سب سے بڑا دن قربانی کا دن (یوم النحر) ہے، پھر آرام کا دن (یوم القر)۔" ابو بکر نے کہا: "یوم القر کا مطلب قربانی کے دن کے بعد دوسرا دن ہے۔""
