Ahmad ibn Mani’ and Muhammad ibn Rafi’ narrated to us, saying: Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, Sufyan al-Thawri narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Qais al-Awdi, on the authority of Huzail bin Shurahbil, on the authority of Al-Mughirah bin Shu’bah, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, “performed ablution and wiped over his socks.” And the sandals.” Abu Bakr said: There is no report from Abu Asim about sandals.
