Muhammad bin Yahya told me, Asbagh bin Al-Faraj told me, Ibn Wahb told me, Jarir bin Hazim Al-Azdi told me, Qatada bin Da’amah, from Anas bin Malik, who said: A man came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he had performed ablution and left on the back of his foot a spot like Then the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to him: “Go back and perform your ablution well.” Ahmad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Wahb, my uncle, like him.

سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص وضو کر کے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور اُس نے اپنے قدم کے بالائی حصّے پر ناخن کے برابر جگہ خشک چھوڑ دی تھی۔ تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس سے فرمایا: ”واپس جاؤ اور اپنا وضواچھی طرح کرو۔“ اما م ابوبکر رحمہ اللہ فرماتے ہیں کہ ہمیں احمد بن عبدالرحمان بن وہب نے بیان کیا، وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہمیں میرے چچا نے اسی طرح حدیث بیان کی۔
