نا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَشْجَعِيُّ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ : أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَسَأَلَهُ عَنِ الْوُضُوءِ، فَتَوَضَّأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلاثًا ثَلاثًا، فَقَالَ: مَنْ زَادَ فَقَدْ أَسَاءَ وَظَلَمَ ، أَوِ اعْتَدَى وَظَلَمَ"""

Yaqoub bin Ibrahim Al-Dawraqi told us, Al-Ashja’i told us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Musa bin Abi Aisha, on the authority of Amr bin Shuaib, on the authority of His father, on the authority of his grandfather: A Bedouin came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and asked him about ablution. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, performed three ablutions. Thirdly, he said: “Whoever does more has done wrong and is unjust, or has transgressed and done injustice.”

عمرو بن شعیب اپنے والد سے اور وہ اپنے دادا سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ ایک اعرابی نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور اُس نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے وضو کے متعلق دریافت کیا۔ رسول الله صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے تین تین بار وضو کیا، پھر فرمایا: ”جو (اس مقدار سے) زیادہ کرے تو اُس نے بُرا کیا اور ظلم کیا یا اُس نے زیادتی کی اور ظلم کیا-“
