نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، نا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالا: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مَاهَكَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ: تَخَلَّفَ عَنَّا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ سَافَرْنَاهُ، فَأَدْرَكَنَا وَقَدْ أَرْهَقَتْنَا الصَّلاةُ صَلاةُ الْعَصْرِ، وَنَحْنُ نَتَوَضَّأُ، فَجَعَلْنَا نَمْسَحُ أَرْجُلَنَا، فَنَادَى بِأَعْلَى صَوْتِهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاثًا: وَيْلٌ لِلأَعْقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ" . هَذَا لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ عَفَّانَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ"

Al-Hasan bin Muhammad narrated to us, Affan bin Muslim narrated to us, and Saeed bin Mansour narrated to us, they said: Abu Awanah narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Bishr, on the authority of Yusuf bin Mahak, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, lagged behind us on a journey we were on, and we found ourselves exhausted. The prayer is the afternoon prayer. While we were performing ablution, he made us wipe our feet. Then he called out in his loudest voice two or three times: “Woe to the heels of the Fire.” This is the wording of the hadith of Affan bin Muslim

سیدنا عبد اللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ ہمارے ایک سفر میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہم سے پیھچے رہ گئے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمارے پاس پہنچے اور ہمیں عصر کی نماز نے جلدی میں ڈال دیا تھا اور ہم (جلدی جلدی) وضو کر رہے تھے۔ ہم اپنے قدموں کا مسح کر رہے تھے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے (یہ دیکھ کر کہ ہم پاؤں پوری طرح دھونے کے بجائے اُن کا مسح کر رہے ہیں) دو یا تین بار بآوازِ بلند فرمایا: ”(خشک رہ جانے والی) ایڑیوں کے لیے آگ کا عذاب ہے۔“ یہ عفان بن مسلم کی حدیث ہے۔
