سیدنا ابن بُحینہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں نماز پڑھائی، ہمارا خیال ہے کہ وہ عصر کی نماز تھی، پھر جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم دوسری رکعت میں تھے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھڑے ہو گئے اور (تشہد کے لئے) نہ بیٹھے (اور کھڑے ہو گئے) پھر جب سلام پھیرنے سے قبل (تشہد بیٹھے ہوئے تھے) تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بیٹھے بیٹھے سہو کے دوسجدے کیے۔

Ahmad bin Abdul Rahman told us, my uncle told me, Ibn Abi Hazim told me, on the authority of Al-Dahhak, who is the son of Uthman, on the authority of Al-Araj, on the authority of Abdul Allah ibn Buhaynah said: “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed one of the prayers, then he stood up from two more and recited it, then continued until he finished.” Of his prayer, all that remained was the salutation, so he prostrated two prostrations while sitting before he said the salutation.”

سیدنا عبداللہ بن بُحینہ رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نمازوں میں سے ایک نماز پڑھائی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم دوسری رکعت میں (تشہد بیٹھے بغیر) کھڑے ہو گئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ”سبحان اللہ“ کہہ کر یاد دلایا گیا مگر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے (اپنی نماز) جاری رکھی حتیٰ کہ نماز سے فارغ ہو گئے اور صرف سلام باقی رہ گیا لہٰذا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سلام سے پہلے بیٹھے بیٹھے دو سجدے کیے۔
