[4/430] 2834 حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، قَالَ : خَطَبَنَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ عَلَى مِنْبَرِ الْبَصْرَةِ ، فَحَمِدَ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : مَا مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا وَلَهُ دَعْوَةٌ ، كُلُّهُمْ قَدْ تَنَجَّزَهَا فِي الدُّنْيَا ، وَإِنِّي ادَّخَرْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، أَلَا وَإِنِّي سَيِّدُ وَلَدِ آدَمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا فَخْرَ ، وَأَوَّلُ مَنْ تَنْشَقُّ عَنْهُ الْأَرْضُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا فَخْرَ ، وَبِيَدِي لِوَاءُ الْحَمْدِ تَحْتَهُ آدَمُ فَمَنْ دُونَهُ وَلَا فَخْرَ ، وَيَشْتَدُّ كَرْبُ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ عَلَى النَّاسِ فَيَقُولُونَ : انْطَلِقُوا بِنَا إِلَى آدَمَ أَبِي الْبَشَرِ ، فَلْيَشْفَعْ لَنَا إِلَى رَبِّنَا حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ بَيْنَنَا . فَيَأْتُونَ آدَمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَيَقُولُونَ : أَنْتَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكَ اللهُ بِيَدِهِ ، وَأَسْكَنَكَ جَنَّتَهُ ، وَأَسْجَدَ لَكَ مَلَائِكَتَهُ ، فَاشْفَعْ لَنَا إِلَى رَبِّنَا حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ بَيْنَنَا فَيَقُولُ : إِنِّي لَسْتُ هُنَاكُمْ ، إِنِّي أُخْرِجْتُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ بِخَطِيئَتِي ، وَإِنَّهُ لَا يُهِمُّنِي الْيَوْمَ إِلَّا نَفْسِي ، وَلَكِنِ ائْتُوا نُوحًا أَوَّلَ النَّبِيِّينَ . فَيَأْتُونَ نُوحًا عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَيَقُولُونَ : اشْفَعْ لَنَا إِلَى رَبِّنَا حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ بَيْنَنَا فَيَقُولُ : لَسْتُ هُنَاكُمْ ، إِنِّي دَعَوْتُ دَعْوَةً أَغْرَقَتْ أَهْلَ الْأَرْضِ ، وَإِنَّهُ لَا يُهِمُّنِي الْيَوْمَ إِلَّا نَفْسِي ، وَلَكِنِ ائْتُوا إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلَ اللهِ . [4/431] فَيَأْتُونَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَيَقُولُونَ : اشْفَعْ لَنَا إِلَى رَبِّنَا حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ بَيْنَنَا فَيَقُولُ : إِنِّي لَسْتُ هُنَاكُمْ ، إِنِّي كَذَبْتُ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ ثَلَاثَ كِذْبَاتٍ ، وَإِنَّهُ لَا يُهِمُّنِي الْيَوْمَ إِلَّا نَفْسِي - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : وَاللهِ مَا حَاوَلَ بِهِنَّ إِلَّا عَنْ دِينِ اللهِ ; قَوْلُهُ : { إِنِّي سَقِيمٌ } ، وَقَوْلُهُ : { بَلْ فَعَلَهُ كَبِيرُهُمْ هَذَا } ، وَقَوْلُهُ لِسَارَةَ : قُولِي : إِنَّهُ أَخِي - وَلَكِنِ ائْتُوا مُوسَى عَبْدًا اصْطَفَاهُ اللهُ بِرِسَالَاتِهِ وَبِكَلَامِهِ . فَيَأْتُونَ مُوسَى فَيَقُولُونَ : اشْفَعْ لَنَا إِلَى رَبِّنَا حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ بَيْنَنَا فَيَقُولُ : إِنِّي لَسْتُ هُنَاكُمْ ، إِنِّي قَتَلْتُ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ ، وَإِنَّهُ لَا يُهِمُّنِي الْيَوْمَ إِلَّا نَفْسِي ، وَلَكِنِ ائْتُوا عِيسَى رُوحَ اللهِ وَكَلِمَتَهُ . فَيَأْتُونَ عِيسَى فَيَقُولُونَ : اشْفَعْ لَنَا إِلَى رَبِّنَا حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ بَيْنَنَا ، فَيَقُولُ : إِنِّي لَسْتُ هُنَاكُمْ ، إِنِّي اتُّخِذْتُ وَأُمِّيَ إِلَهَيْنِ مِنْ دُونِ اللهِ ، وَلَكِنْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ لَوْ أَنَّ مَتَاعًا فِي وِعَاءٍ قَدْ خُتِمَ عَلَيْهِ ، أَكَانَ يُوصَلُ إِلَى مَا فِي الْوِعَاءِ حَتَّى يُفَضَّ الْخَاتَمُ ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ : لَا ، فَيَقُولُ : فَإِنَّ مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ حَضَرَ الْيَوْمَ ، وَقَدْ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ . قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " فَيَأْتِينِي النَّاسُ فَيَقُولُونَ : اشْفَعْ لَنَا إِلَى رَبِّنَا حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ بَيْنَنَا ، فَأَقُولُ : أَنَا لَهَا ، أَنَا لَهَا ، حَتَّى يَأْذَنَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِمَنْ [4/432] يَشَاءُ وَيَرْضَى ، فَإِذَا أَرَادَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنْ يَقْضِيَ بَيْنَ خَلْقِهِ نَادَى مُنَادِي : أَيْنَ أَحْمَدُ وَأُمَّتُهُ ؟ فَأَقُومُ وَيَتْبَعُنِي أُمَّتِي ، غُرٌّ مُحَجَّلُونَ مِنْ أَثَرِ الطُّهُورِ " . قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " فَنَحْنُ الْآخِرُونَ الْأَوَّلُونَ ، أَوَّلُ مَنْ يُحَاسَبُ ، وَتُفْرِجُ لَنَا الْأُمَمُ عَنْ طَرِيقِنَا ، وَتَقُولُ الْأُمَمُ : كَادَتْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةُ أَنْ تَكُونَ أَنْبِيَاءَ كُلُّهَا " قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " فَأَنْتَهِي إِلَى بَابِ الْجَنَّةِ ، فَأَسْتَفْتِحُ فَيُقَالُ : مَنْ هَذَا ؟ فَأَقُولُ : أَحْمَدُ ، فَيُفْتَحُ لِي ، فَأَنْتَهِي إِلَى رَبِّي ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُرْسِيِّهِ ، فَأَخِرُّ سَاجِدًا ، فَأَحْمَدُ رَبِّي بِمَحَامِدَ لَمْ يَحْمَدْهُ أَحَدٌ قَبْلِي ، وَلَا يَحْمَدُهُ بِهَا أَحَدٌ بَعْدِي ، فَيُقَالُ لِي : ارْفَعْ رَأْسَكَ ، وَقُلْ تُسْمَعْ ، وَسَلْ تُعْطَهْ ، وَاشْفَعْ تُشَفَّعْ ، فَأَشْفَعُ فَيُقَالُ : فَاذْهَبْ فَأَخْرِجْ مِنَ النَّارِ مَنْ كَانَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ كَذَا وَكَذَا ، فَأَنْطَلِقُ فَأُخْرِجُهُمْ ، ثُمَّ أَرْجِعُ إِلَى رَبِّي ، فَأَخِرُّ سَاجِدًا ، فَيُقَالُ لِي : ارْفَعْ [4/433] رَأْسَكَ ، وَقُلْ تُسْمَعْ ، وَاشْفَعْ تُشَفَّعْ ، وَسَلْ تُعْطَهْ ، قَالَ : فَيَحُدُّ لِي حَدًّا ، فَأُخْرِجُهُمْ " .

2834 - Abu Dawud said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, he said: Ali ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Abu Nadrah, who said: Ibn Abbas addressed us upon the pulpit of Basrah, praised Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, and extolled Him, then said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There is no Prophet but that he has a supplication; all of them have hastened it in this world, but I have stored my supplication as intercession for my Ummah on the Day of Resurrection. And I am the chief of the children of Adam on the Day of Resurrection, without boasting; the first over whom the earth will split on the Day of Resurrection, without boasting; in my hand is the Banner of Praise, under it Adam and all below him, without boasting. The distress of that Day will weigh heavily upon people, so they will say: Come with us to Adam, the father of mankind, that he intercede for us with our Lord until He judges between us. So they will come to Adam (peace be upon him) and say: You are the one whom Allah created with His Hand, settled in His Paradise, and made His angels prostrate to you; intercede for us with our Lord until He judges between us. He will say: I am not in a position for that; I was expelled from Paradise due to my sin, and today nothing concerns me but myself. Rather, go to Nuh, the first of the Prophets. So they will come to Nuh (peace be upon him) and say: Intercede for us with our Lord until He judges between us. He will say: I am not in a position for that; I made a supplication that drowned the people of the earth, and today nothing concerns me but myself. Rather, go to Ibrahim, the intimate friend of Allah. So they will come to Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and say: Intercede for us with our Lord until He judges between us. He will say: I am not in a position for that; I told three lies in the cause of Islam, and today nothing concerns me but myself - he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: By Allah, he intended by them nothing but the religion of Allah: his saying: Indeed I am sick, his saying: Rather, the chief of them did it, and his saying to Sarah: Say: He is my brother - rather, go to Musa, a servant whom Allah chose with His messages and His speech. So they will come to Musa and say: Intercede for us with our Lord until He judges between us. He will say: I am not in a position for that; I killed a soul without a soul in return, and today nothing concerns me but myself. Rather, go to Isa, the Spirit of Allah and His Word. So they will come to Isa and say: Intercede for us with our Lord until He judges between us. He will say: I am not in a position for that; I and my mother were taken as two gods besides Allah. But have you considered: if goods were in a vessel sealed over, would one reach what is in the vessel until the seal is broken? They will say: No. He will say: Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has come today, and he has been forgiven what preceded of his sin and what followed. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: So the people will come to me and say: Intercede for us with our Lord until He judges between us. So I will say: I am for it, I am for it, until Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, permits whomever He wills and is pleased with. When Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, intends to judge among His creation, a caller will call: Where is Ahmad and his Ummah? So I will stand, and my Ummah will follow me, radiant with traces of purification. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: So we are the last and the first: the first to be reckoned, and the nations will make way for us from their path, and the nations will say: This Ummah almost all became Prophets. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: So I will reach the gate of Paradise and ask for it to be opened. It will be said: Who is this? I will say: Ahmad. So it will be opened for me. I will reach my Lord, Who is upon His Throne, and fall prostrate. I will praise my Lord with praises with which none before me praised Him, nor will anyone after me praise Him therewith. It will be said to me: Raise your head, speak and you will be heard, ask and you will be given, intercede and your intercession will be accepted. So I will intercede, and it will be said: Go and bring out of the Fire whoever had in his heart such-and-such of good. So I will go and bring them out. Then I will return to my Lord and fall prostrate. It will be said to me: Raise your head, speak and you will be heard, intercede and your intercession will be accepted, ask and you will be given. He said: So a limit will be set for me, and I will bring them out.
